Elsipogtog Crisis Center

The Elsipogtog Crisis Cener was established in 1992 to improve the delivery of crisis response to our community. The center provides suicide and crisis intervention services 24 hours a day, seven days per week.


MISSION STATEMENT

To provide Crisis Intervention, Stabilization, Referal, Support and After Care Services to the community of Elsipogtog


PHILOSOPHY

We believe that people are striving to be healthy and have the potential to manange their lives. As a result, services are provided so they can grow individually and collectively as a community.


STAFF STATEMENT

We, the staff of the Crisis Centre are here to assist individuals, families and the community in their journey towards healing.

LOGIC STATEMENT
To increase the potential of individuals to manage their own lives (thinking, feeling and behaving) responsibily and respectfully at home, at work and in the community.

SUICIDE PREVENTION SERVICES:
To coordinate suicide prevention activities in the community

CRISIS HELP LINE:
To ensure that the community members have access to confidential on-line counseling..

CRISIS INTERVENTION / OUTREACH & AFTERCARE:
To ensure home visits, crisis counseling, risk assessments, stabilization and referrals to proper agencies.

ADDICTION SERVICES:
To ensure appropriate referrals and after-care counseling.

 

WHAT IS ABUSE?

Abuse is any physical, sexual, emotional, psychological or financial mistreatment that occurs in the home, workplace or the community at large.

WHAT IF YOU ARE BEING ABUSED?

It's not your fault. You need safety, support and counseling. There are people who care and are reay to listen.
